hi everyone!
I am probably one of the youngest guys in the z club so my experience with working on the z's probably isnt as good as most of yours. But anyways I just had a diagnostic on my 1990 300zx NA and to my luck my cylinder #1 fuel injector needs replaced. I was given a price of 1200 to fix it but i kinda need to save that money for college next year. So my plan now is to take the risk of replacing it myself so that i can keep my car and save the money. Because there is no way i will ever let this beautiful car go. I would be greatful for any advice or tips from you guys.
So far i have found and watched videos online many times that show steps of how to pull the plenum and how to replace the injectors. I am pretty mechanically inclined so i know that i can perform these tedious tasks the right way. But im reaching out to you guys for any help or advice. There is one thing that i will not do and that would be the Dremmel method of taking out the injector, I dont have the right tool for that and its risky.
But thanks to anyone that can help with this. I will greatly appreciate it!
