We just got back, we had a great time. I put 0ver 1300 miles on the Fossil, and she never missed a beat. I met a lot of new friends down there, and memories that will last a lifetime. the people at Nissan were great, as were all the sponsors of this great event.
I got to meet and got a picture with Yoshihiko Matsuo the man who designed the 240Z, we enjoyed the company of Mr. K and his wife via satellite at the reception Saturday nite, and let me tell you, for a hundred years old he is sure sharp, he had the whole room laughing.
I had a great time at the car show on Nissan's corporate office lawn, even a 5 a.m. storm cleared out by 7, and made for a beautiful but hot day. Every once in a while someone would notice the L.E.D. headlights in the 260, and ask all sorts of questions. Mr. Matsuo even took pics of my Z's electric retracting sunroof, and asked about the headroom clearance. (that was one of the big problems he faced and solved in designing the Z, making room for 97% of the americans height.)
I'll try to send some pics tomorrow.
