Hi Everyone,
As many of you know already, we are planning a clambake for the 3rd of October 2010. Starting time is 2:00 PM
The event will be catered by Mike Mills. Mike did our clambake l the last 2 years and those that attended liked it.
Our menu will consist of the following:
Broth
New England clam chowder
Sweet Potatoes
Red Skin Potatoes
Oven Baked Chicken (1/2 chicken per person)
1 dozen Middle Neck Clams per person
Corn on the cob
Rolls and butter
Kids get hotdogs, corn and potatoes for free.
All utensils and plates and napkins are provided.
If you don't want the clams, then you can get everything else but clams.
We will accept cash the day of the event. (Please: No Checks. I have to pay Mike and he wants cash)
Ray Haren, Club President, has agreed to have the club pay a portion of the meal costs so your meals will be exactly as they were last year. Thanks Ray
So your individual costs are:
Full Clam Bake: 19.00 per person
An extra dozen clams can be had for an additional 7.00
If you don't want clams, then it really turns into a chicken dinner.
Chicken Dinner: 11.00 per person
We’ll have some soda there, but you should bring what you like.
But PLEASE, NO ALCOHOLIC DRINKS. NO BEER, NO WINE.
The facility we are using has strict rules about Alcohol consumption on premise. We would need a policeman hired and a much higher deposit is required.
It will be held at the Club House facility of The Lakes of Aurora, in Aurora Ohio.
The address is: 630 Country Wood Trail,. Aurora Ohio 44202. The club house office phone is: 330-562-8649 and if you get lost that day, My cell number is 216-272-8377 so feel free to call me.
RSVP by September 25th, 2010 directly to me at rorelli@gibsonassocs.com. Let me know how many in your party and let me know your choice of meals.
Please let me know how many kids there are also.
You may change your choice of meal and number of guests up until Wednesday, September 29th. After that, it's too late and you will be asked to pay for what you initially ordered.
It's a nice facility and a good location for some pictures so weather permitting, bring your Z's.
I'll be sending out several emails reminding folks of the event since not everyone reads the bulletin board.
I'm looking forward to getting together soon.
Thanks
Rick Orelli
