1974 260Z $5500

I really hate to do this but I may be moving across country soon for a new job and do not have much choice.

For Sale is my 1974 260Z, early model, basically a 240z with different bumpers and a L26. Purchased the car from its second owner about a year ago. The car has just over 85K, has been repainted once about 10 years ago and still has the original motor. This 260Z is in great condition overall, the interior is nearly mint I would give it 9/10, the motor runs awesome the carbs are tuned to nearly perfection, the exterior is in overall great shape. The paint is bubbling up in a few spaces 2 spots on the passengers side fender and on the pasengers side A-Pillar. Had the spots assesed by a trusted body shop before purchase the fender is no big deal as it can be easily replaced for under $200 and the A-Pillar would be around a $3-$400 repair if you wanted the car to be perfect.

Modifications:
Rebuilt and tuned Dual SU carbs
280Z Radiator
280Z starter (about 2 years old)
240Z Mechanical Fuel Pump (replaced the weaker 260z pump)
Tokico HP Shocks
Eibach Pro Kit springs (1" drop all around)
AC Removed.
MSA Type-1 Air Dam (not painted)
Spec Clutch and Fidanza Flywheel.
Konig Rewind wheels
Front and rear strut tower bars.
Refinished original steering wheel.

Like I stated above the car is in great shape, it is pretty much impossible to find one in this kind of condition in this part of the country without spending over 10K. Besides the few minor rust spots the only issues with the car is the diff mount is about ready to be replaced and the previous owner has the ignition rigged to a pushbutton starter that was done kind of shitty and should be redone. I will be including the original front chrome bumper and a new pair of clear headlight covers that are not pictured with the purchase.

Asking $5500 OBO. NO TRADES
This is a great car to just cruise around in as is or for a canidate for a LSx swap like I wanted to do.

Hello - any pictures of the rust spots? BTW, is the aftermarket shift light screwed into the factory dash or is the dash capped?

Any photos of the usual rust spots (floor boards, battery tray, rear deck, etc.) would be helpful.

Thanks!

The dash was capped by the previous owner, its a real nice cap though you can barley notice it.
